Bevan’s career in the building industry has focused on getting the best outcome for clients.
With both trade and academic qualifications a combination which allows him to bring a rather critical perspective to any type of building. This is evident in the way that he has developed a rather unique practical approach to the way buildings are constructed.
His teaching and mentoring of builders has allowed him to understand what is needed to produce a well constructed and compliant building. The many house inspections undertaken has reinforced his understanding of what is needed to have a safe and healthy home in which to live.
Providing direct supervision of contracts (clerk of Works) of both residential and commercial construction has provided an all round awareness of the methodologies needed to erect major and complicated buildings.
Bevan has been a member of various professional bodies, including; The Clerk of Works Institute, The Building Surveyors Institute, BRANZ Accredited Building Advisor and Building Officials Institute just to name a few.
